Alcohol Ink Fun
Concentrating
Final product looks great in a frame with a white background.
I have found alcohol inks at Michael's and (some) Ben Franklins. They are about ten dollars for the three small bottles. They last a long time. Alcohol inks are generally used for dying paper to make cards.
Here is what the packaging looks like.
We used clear contact paper as a resist. Rubber cement does not work on the glass as a resist. (Homemade alcohol ink as seen online with rubbing alcohol and fabric dye did not work for me either.)
More tiles. They are so pretty. I really like when they are covered with clear varnish from the home improvement store but they are okay covered with mod podge too.
We have done THESE on tiles before.
It was fun and simple. We already had the alcohol inks. The colors are bright and it is impossible to mess up! FUN.
